Surface Finishing Services
Techsun provides surface finishing solutions for fabricated sheet metal parts, enclosures, cabinets, brackets, and assemblies. Finishing processes are selected according to the material, application, appearance requirements, corrosion resistance, durability, and production specifications of each project.
Our surface finishing capabilities support prototypes, low-volume production, and volume manufacturing, with finishing requirements managed according to customer drawings, specifications, approved samples, and project requirements.
Finishing Options
Powder Coating-A durable finishing process widely used for sheet metal enclosures, cabinets, brackets, and industrial components. Powder coating provides good corrosion resistance, surface durability, and a wide range of colors and textures.
Wet Painting-Wet painting provides flexible color and appearance options and can be applied to a variety of metal components and assemblies. It is suitable for applications requiring specific colors, gloss levels, or coating specifications.
Anodizing-Anodizing is primarily used for aluminum components to improve corrosion resistance, surface hardness, and appearance. Different anodized finishes and colors can be specified according to project requirements.
Plating-Electroplating uses the principle of electrolysis to immerse metal in an electroplating bath, creating a thin layer on the surface, thus improving the product’s corrosion resistance, wear resistance, conductivity, and aesthetics.
Electrophoresis-Electrophoresis is a process where colloidal microparticles move directionally towards electrodes and adhere to a metal surface under the influence of a DC power supply.
Zinc Flake Coating-Zinc flake coating is a non-electrolytically applied coating system designed to provide high corrosion resistance for steel components and fasteners. The coating typically uses zinc flakes, often combined with aluminum flakes, to provide cathodic corrosion protection. Depending on the application, a top coat can also be applied to provide additional corrosion resistance or specific surface properties.
Phosphating-Phosphating is a process involving chemical and electrochemical reactions to form a phosphate conversion film; the resulting phosphate conversion film is called phosphating treatment.
Brushing-Decorative lines are drawn on the metal surface using grinding equipment to enhance its appearance.
Polishing-Polishing uses polishing tools to reduce the surface roughness of metal parts, achieving a bright, mirror-like finish.

Why Choose Techsun
Integrated Sheet Metal Manufacturing
Surface finishing is integrated into our broader sheet metal manufacturing process, from cutting, punching, bending, forming, welding, and assembly to final finishing. This helps simplify supplier coordination and provides a more streamlined manufacturing process from components to finished assemblies.
Finish Selection Based on Application Requirements
We select surface finishing processes according to the material, application environment, appearance requirements, corrosion resistance, durability, and functional requirements of each project. Our team can review your drawings and specifications to help identify a suitable finishing solution.
Consistent Quality & Inspection
Finished components are inspected according to customer drawings, specifications, approved samples, and applicable quality requirements. Depending on the finishing process, inspection can include appearance, color consistency, coating condition, dimensional requirements, and other specified characteristics.
Coordinated Production & Delivery
By coordinating fabrication, surface finishing, and assembly within the same production workflow, Techsun helps reduce unnecessary supplier handoffs and supports more predictable production scheduling from finished components to completed assemblies.
