Metal Stamping

The main factors affecting the accuracy of precision stamped parts include:
1. Poor quality of raw materials.
2. Improper adjustment in previous processes or wear of fillets, disrupting the principle of equal volume during deformation and causing dimensional changes after stamping.
3. Poor positioning of the stamped part or improper design of the positioning mechanism, causing the blank to move during stamping. Defects in the sheared part (edge angles, missing edges, etc.) leading to inaccurate positioning can also result in dimensional deviations.
4. Incorrect stamping sequence.
5. Manufacturing deviations in the edge dimensions of the stamping die.
6. Springback during the stamping process. Inconsistencies between the workpiece shape in the previous process and the support surface shape of the die working parts in the next process cause deformation of the stamped part during stamping, resulting in elastic recovery after stamping and affecting dimensional accuracy.
